Bio

Kelsey has grown up and trained primarily in Michigan and graduated with her BFA in Dance from Wayne State University in Detroit (May of 2018). She received two artistic study scholarships from WSU, and her choreography HUB was performed at the American College Dance Association festival in March 2018. She also graduated with academic honors.

During her time at university, she performed in works of those such as Meg Paul, Trey McIntyre, Ron De Jesus, Jen Freeman, Faye Driscoll and more. She performed in the Eisenhower Dance 50th Anniversary Gala Performance at the Detroit Opera House in 2016, as well as on the Kennedy Center Stage in Meg Paul's nationally acclaimed seed at the American College Dance Association National Gala.

She has worked with additional artists such as Desmond Richardson, Elita Cannata, Sidra Bell, Shannon Gillen, Alexandra Wells, Shamel Pitts and more. She has attended workshops with companies/programs such as Gallim Dance, Dance Italia, Movement Invention Project, and b12 in Berlin, Germany. Kelsey is also fully trained in both Stott Pilates Matwork and Reformer and teaches both privates and group classes.

Kelsey performed at Movement Research at the Judson Church in New York City in 2018 with Bailey Allshouse. Kelsey is currently an apprentice for Eisenhower Dance Detroit for their 29th season.
