HUB is a choreographic exploration of uncharted territories, both in and around the moving body. The work is a way for both the dancers within and for the viewing eye to experience a transformation in an indescribable, cinematically pre-undiscovered environment. The work does for the dancers what it also does for the audience; hones in on something trying to be attained. What this may be is different for each individual, but the work aims to identify this distinct goal or place for each viewer over the course of its length. Eventually the work uncovers one of the many paths possible that can achieve this moving onward in a cathartic, fully embodied way. HUB is cinematic, otherworldly, and progressive. It is a gradual understanding of the moving body, the atmosphere being discovered, and the place that may come next.
